29) Spirit Guides

January 4, 2021

Continuing from the last blog on Lucky Streaks, I would like to explore the nature of spirit-guides.

Of course there is no proof that spirit-guides even exist, just like God or Jesus or whatever or whomever we pray to.  So this is an exploration of one of those “higher” level intelligences.

What do we know?

Number one is that all of us at one time or another in our lives have an experience which cannot be explained as pure coincidence, some kind of guidance or help.  Some people have multiple of these, but others have one big one and just write it off without trying to project into something larger, and in some cases, are afraid to mention it to others lest they be judged as “crazy”.  I know that I have talked to numerous people described as totally sane, who, once they find out that I believe in more, open up to me with their experience.  Actually most people believe in one religion or another and can talk to each other about their experiences in terms the religion accepts.

Number two:  whoever it is doesn’t want their actions to be proven scientifically.

Three:  there doesn’t seem to be any necessity involved from our point of view.  Sometimes prayers are answered and sometimes not.  Sometimes creativity shines through and sometimes we are just “dry”.

Four:  there seems to be some kind of higher knowledge about timing.  Once we start looking at our lives that way, we become used to waiting for the right time.

Five:  our viewpoint about “good” and “evil” doesn’t seem to matter.  Sometimes it is a “miracle” and sometimes “shit happens”.

What else?

For a religious person, all of the above are just givens.  What else is new?  But I am trying to go beyond the dogma and put some scientific, non-magic, thinking into it---perhaps a fool’s errand.

To continue, spirit-guides.  Does every human have one?  Do we have multiple?  How do they do it?  Is a spirit-guide taking care of more than one human?  What are they up to?

It does seem as though there is a bigger picture they are taking care of---perhaps the author of the script is the soul, the accumulator of human experiences.  I like that because that makes the spirit-guide kind of a facilitator.  It would be contentious to have multiple spirit-guides vying for influence, and that doesn’t seem to be happening.  Belief in a single God makes it easier, but that looks like too much magic for me to accept.

Many of the actions are emotional or mental, but some are physical.  I believe that that may be possible without our awareness if they can move at a substantially faster speed than our perception---get in and out quickly.  As I have mentioned before, there is plenty of room between one second and the around 10x-35 second where physics says time and space become quantized, grid-like.

I seem to have multiple spirit-guides.  I get one with very hurtfully truthful intentions towards others when I have had a few martinis and a different one if I have taken one of Yani’s marijuana crackers---more mentally truthful.  I could say another for my programming creativity and perhaps another for my humiliations and perhaps another to help with my moves.  I probably should give them names, even though a name is not important, although it might help to recognize when each is operating.  I do give names to neighbors I see repeatedly and don’t know, why not my spirit-guides?

In our English language the sex is important for the name, so maybe I should first assign each a sexual orientation.  This is getting more fun!  Probably most of them are bisexual anyway.

So yes, I have multiple spirit-guides.

Do those guides take care of more than just me?  Don’t know, but it does seem as if they are not always paying attention to me, maybe off busy with others?  Or just resting?  Or playing?  Do spirit-guides need to sleep?

What about the spirit-guides for deceitful people?  Violent people?  Just a lack of the human’s attention to spiritual guidance, or actually guided into immoral actions?  We have all heard the words of the killer, “I don’t know why I did it.”  They ignorantly get into a situation, and then their not-so-nice spirit-guide takes over.

Mr. Tunks, my metaphysical guide for many years, used to say that a psychic could see negative entities sitting on the roof of a bar, just waiting for an argument to get started below, feeding off the negativity and maybe sometimes helping things along.

Thinking this way begins to suggest that there really isn’t any free-will, but I believe that we as humans do have choices, at least free-won’ts, and that for some reason it is important to the process of life.  In other words, when a soul incarnates a human, it could be a gamble whether the ultimate goal for the lifetime is achieved or not, and soul forbid, not an increase in karma.

Alright, enough for this blog.  I’ll start working on enumerating my spirit-guides, giving them sexual orientations, and then names.

P.S.  A wild idea.  What if spirit-guides actually were physical but constructed of matter we can’t see?  That reminds me of what most of the universe seems to be made of, dark matter and dark energy.  It has mass but no photons, so no atoms as we know them.  Could they still have a physical structure made up of another kind of atom?  Fun, huh?
